Policies and procedures are in place to make sure your child remains safe and well at school.

The following procedures apply to students at our school.

Adverse weather procedures

Anti-bullying procedures

Frenchs Forest Public School aims to provide an inclusive environment, where diversity is affirmed and individual differences are respected. Attendance procedures

Regular attendance at school for every student is essential if students are to achieve their potential, and increase their career and life options. Awards procedures

Bike and scooter procedures

Class formation procedures

Homework procedures

Homework is a valuable part of schooling. It allows for practising, extending and consolidating work done in class. Homework provides training for students in plannning and organising time and develops a range of skills in identifying and using information resources. Learning support procedures

Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) procedures

At Frenchs Forest Public School we strive to make our school environment a happy and safe place. Representative sport selection procedures

Student leadership procedures

Frenchs Forest Public School places a high value on the development of leadership skills within our students, endeavouring to support those who aspire to leadership positions and helping all students improve their individual leadership capabilities. Sun protection procedures

Attendance and absences

Students must attend school regularly so they can achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options.

In NSW, all children from the age of 6 are legally required to attend school or be registered for home schooling through the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). All students must complete Year 10, or its equivalent and remain in school, employment or training until they turn 17.
