Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
The canteen is operated by the school Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) with the support of a committed group of parent volunteers and our canteen manager.
The canteen provides fresh, healthy food choices at reasonable prices, operating under the requirements of the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy.
- Green foods have the highest nutritional value and should dominate the canteen menu.
- Amber foods have nutritional value and include moderate levels of fat, sugar and salt and should be selected carefully.
- Red foods are sold on no more than two occasions per term as they lack the adequate nutritional value and are high in one or more of saturated fat, sugar or salt.
