The Frenchs Forest Public School Library Resource Centre (LRC) contains the library, a computer room, a video conference facility two interactive whiteboards and internet enabled devices for student use.
The school community believes the interconnection of these facilities is a vital feature of schooling in the 21st century.
In the LRC students learn to access information from the library and through computer technology via the internet.
In the library students are taught library procedures, locating and borrowing books using the library system oliver. Through library sessions, students are extended in their love of literature and the development of information gathering skills.
The library is also a place of relaxation where students can enjoy a quiet space or game of chess.
The LRC is open everyday for students to borrow and return books and enjoy the wonderful collection of titles.
